A wide-neck tank with a slightly extended front hem, designed to pair effortlessly with lower-rise silhouettes. Crafted from a collage of upcycled knit off-cuts and finished with exposed serger seams, it balances a raw, deconstructed feel with a soft, wearable shape. Each piece is one of a kind with natural variations in fabric and construction. Selected for our Independent Studio edit, celebrating designers who create independently, with intention and a unique point of view.

As each garment is made from reclaimed textile waste, variations in seam placement, fabric type, and color are to be expected - making every piece truly one-of-a-kind.

Founded in 2018 by Gal Yakobovitch, MATNAS is a New York-based label rooted in circular design and material experimentation. The brand focuses on reworking existing materials into adaptable garments designed to be worn in multiple ways. Sourcing from factory off-cuts, second-hand garments, and urban waste streams, MATNAS transforms overlooked materials through reconstruction and natural dyeing. Produced in small batches in New York, each piece reflects a hands-on approach to craft, individuality, and longevity.
