Founded by Marnie in 2016 during her final year of high school, Marmalade Gardens began as a way to sell handmade jewellery and support her artistic pursuits. Nearly a decade later, and now backed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts from RMIT with a major in Gold and Silversmithing, the brand has evolved into a thoughtful, small-batch jewellery label rooted in experimentation, play, and craftsmanship. Each piece is born from hours of trial and error, transforming ideas into wearable forms that balance practicality with charm. Inspired by quiet studio time, her pet bunnies, and a love for beautiful things, Marnie creates jewellery with a sense of joy and intention, offering collections that are small in size but rich in detail and meaning.

Method 1: Paper or Ribbon Method
What you’ll need: A strip of paper (or ribbon) and a ruler.

Wrap the paper or ribbon snugly around the base of your finger and mark the point where the ends overlap.
Lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters using a ruler.

Method 2: Measure a Ring You Already Own

Have a ring that fits just right? Place it on a ruler and measure straight across the inside, edge to edge. This is the diameter in millimeters.
