Founded in 2019 by Meghna Sihag and Krisztian Szabo, Szabo Sihag is a ready-to-wear womenswear label based between India and London. The brand is rooted in the founders' lived experience of growing up with traditional Indian textiles, and driven by a commitment to keeping endangered craft practices relevant rather than purely preserving them. Collections reinterpret heritage through hand-spun khadi cotton, khadi wool, repurposed odhanis, kiran lace, and locally crafted details, built into modern silhouettes designed for everyday wear. All production is carried out in India through small-scale manufacturers and family-owned workshops, with nearly 90% of materials locally sourced. Sustainability and cultural continuity sit at the core of the brand.
