Full Transparency From Conception to Closet
The Ter Dress's story begins in London, where the 100% repurposed and deadstock denim is initially sourced. Every inch of material used is carefully selected by the founder of 1800 Gallons, Emily Tan from fairs, donations, and luxury fashion excess. When sourcing materials, 1800 Gallons prioritizes color and composition, always searching for 100% cotton rather than a synthetic mix. Once the material is sourced, it is transported to Emily’s studio where the dress will be handcrafted through a slow production process. Every garment is handmade by Emily, using her signature angular style. Once the dress is completed it is packaged in biocellular bags and sent to a shipment center, heading straight to you. This dress has lived in 1 country, traveled hundreds of miles, and given life to discarded materials to earn a permanent spot in your wardrobe. We have you love this dress and wear it with pride, knowing you are embodying sustainable fashion and choosing to better the planet with your conscious shopping choices.
